Larry Achiampong is an artist from London who studied at Slade School of Fine Art. Recent exhibitions include participations in shows at Victoria and Albert Museum, Serpentine Gallery, Five Years, Bergen Kunsthall and Tate Modern. Achiampong regularly collaborates on projects with artist David Blandy as Biters.
Shahin Afrassiabi is a London based artist represented by Soy Capitán in Berlin. Afrassiabi has exhibited at Vilma Gold, MOT International (London and Brussels), South London Gallery, ICA, and Whitechapel Gallery.
David Blandy graduated from Slade School of Fine Art and is based in Brighton. He is represented by Seventeen Gallery in London and has participated in exhibitions at Iniva, ICI Berlin, Serpentine Gallery, and TankTV. His upcoming solo show 'Hercules Rough Cut' will take place at Bloomberg Space in London this July. Blandy regularly collaborates on projects with artist Larry Achiampong as Biters.
Herbert De Colle is an artist from Vienna who has exhibited at 21er Haus in Vienna, Kunstbunker in Nurnberg, Kunstraum Innsbruck, Ve.Sch, Galerie Georg Kargl and Galerie Meyer Kainer/Boltenstern.Raum. He is included in the upcoming group-show 'Auratic and Other Phenomena', at Galerie 5020 in Salzburg opening this July.
Oliver Laric is an artist based in Berlin. He is represented by Seventeen Gallery in London and Tanya Leighton in Berlin. Laric’s work was exhibited in venues such as Kunsthalle Fridericianum, Whitechapel Gallery, Palais de Tokyo and recently at the 2015 Triennial: 'Surround Audience' at New Museum in New York. 2016 he will exhibit at Secession in Vienna.
ROOM OF REQUIREMENT is a series of exhibitions held in alternating spaces throughout Berlin. Different curators are invited to host limited numbers of rotating events until the space is finally returned to its original function. The room could disappear at any given moment yet also reappear at other times and locations in instances of requirement.
Formerly housed in a temporarily unused office building in Kreuzberg, 2015 Room of Requirement will be hosted by HORSEANDPONY Fine Arts. Founded by Carrick Bell and Michael Rocco Ruglio-Misurell in 2014, HORSEANDPONY Fine Arts is an artist-run space with the aim of providing artists, curators, and other project spaces the opportunity to extend or act outside of their existing practices.
