The Algorithmic Tales / Brighton Digital Festival 2021

The Algorithmic Tales / Brighton Digital Festival 2021. / ONLINE WORKSHOPS

Sat 30 October & 6th November / 10-12am / FREE but please BOOK HERE

ONLINE WORKSHOP / 18+ All Welcome

As part of our Digital Democracies Community projects, artist David Blandy will work with the Brighton community to create fragments of stories from his project The Algorithmic Tales.

Through drawing, writing, active play, and a Game Jam, we will develop a setting that reflects a vision of Brighton and Mars in the distant future, incorporating sites, personal stories, and myths of the area.

Participants are invited to meet over two sessions on Saturday 30th October and 6th November, from 10am to 12pm. The group will gather online to brainstorm, write, draw and compile a new future mythology for Brighton and Mars via Zoom and using Padlet to merge ideas, a shared googledoc to compile writing.
